LONDON — Krystal Jones’ Corbin Lady Redhounds continue to establish themselves as the team to beat in the 13th Region after putting on a dominating effort against North Laurel on the road Thursday.
The Lady Redhounds improved to 17-3 overall thanks to a three-set win over the Lady Jaguars, who fell to 4-7.
“It’s nice to see our girls hit their stride,” Jones said. “We served aggressively and ran a strong offense. Our end goal is the postseason, and that’s what we’re focused on. We’ll rest up and head to Whitley on Saturday for a big tournament day.”
Corbin set the tone early, winning the first set, 25-12, before cruising to an easy 25-8 win in the second set. The Lady Redhounds out the match away with a convincing 25-14 victory during the third set.
