CORBIN — Hannah Goins Corbin Lady Redhounds gave 110 percent during their 5-0 loss to Lincoln County on Tuesday, but couldn’t capitalize on numerous opportunities.
“Despite the loss, I think we played really well,” Goins said. “We created a lot of opportunities still just struggling to finish.
“Lincoln’s a good team and we hung with them pretty well at the start,” she added. “We had a few breakdowns the end of the first half but overall I think we played hard. Our intensity looked better than it has been.”
The loss dropped Corbin to 4-9-1. The Lady Redhounds will play their final regular season match Thursday at home against Pulaski County.
