SOMERSET — The Corbin Redhounds player another solid match, finishing in a one-all tie with Somerset on Tuesday.
The Redhounds (6-9-1) have been playing well as of late, and it wasn’t any different Tuesday.
“We were on the back foot from the start from a very high energy side,” Corbin coach Roger Taylor said. “Our tired legs from last night’s big win was a big obstacle and led to a very sloppy performance.”
Leo Moses scored Corbin’s goal in the tie.
“Credit to the guys for fighting for the draw and scoring the game winner one second after the final whistle,” Taylor said.
The Redhounds will now focus on next week’s 49th District boys’ soccer tournament.
