HARLAN — The Whitley County Lady Colonel volleyball team got back on track Tuesday, defeating Harlan on the road in straight sets.
The Lady Colonels improved to 17-7 with a 25-6, 25-7, and 25-8 victory.
“Our girls came out with a lot of focus and we excited to play,” Whitley County coach David Halcomb said. “Even though we are on fall break, I thought we had a good practice yesterday and that carried over to tonight. Our serving was really good and we got some good swings on the ball. I believe we are playing some of our best volleyball right now, but still need to keep improving in some areas. The girls are having fun and want to keep getting better.”
