SOMERSET — North Laurel managed to get revenge on Thursday, upending Somerset on the road with a thrilling 3-2 victory.
The Lady Jaguars dropped a 3-0 decision to the Lady Briar Jumpers on Oct. 1, but turned in a stellar effort to improve to 8-14 while winning three out of their last four matches.
North Laurel captured a 25-17 win in set one before falling 25-15, and 25-21, in sets two and three, respectively.
The Lady Jaguars evened the match at two apiece with a 25-18 win in set four before wrapping up the match with a 15-12 victory in set five.
North Laurel will now switch its focus to next week’s 49th District Tournament.
