Gabe Cima turned in one of his best efforts of the season, recording a hat trick during Corbin’s 4-0 win over South Laurel.
The four-goal win improved the Redhounds to 7-5-1 overall, and 3-0 in 49th District play. The loss dropped South Laurel to 4-6-2, and 0-2 against district opponents.
Cima’s first goal of the match came six minutes into the contest while Braydon Van’s goal gave his team a 2-0 edge at the 21st minute.
Cima added two goals in the final three minutes of the match to seal the win for Corbin. The Redhounds now have five shutouts on the season.
Corbin will be back in action next Tuesday at home against Madison Central while the Cardinals will travel to play Hazard on Saturday.
