LONDON — Steven Nelson had hopes of seeing his North Laurel Jaguars celebrating a homecoming victory over Taylor County on Friday, but it wasn’t meant to be.
The Jaguars dropped their sixth game in a row, falling to 2-6 while losing to the Cardinals, 20-7.
It makes the fourth time this season, North Laurel has scored a touchdown or less in a game.
“We have to be better offensively,” Nelson said. “The guys have to be tougher and stay on blocks and execute much better on our plays. We start out slow and we get tired and forget to execute our plays. Staying on blocks, and finishing plays is our goal.”
