Redhounds finish district play with unblemished 3-0 record

Cole Stevens’ 52-yard rushing touchdown late in the first quarter was a sign of things to come as Corbin ran its record to 8-1 while wrapping up the District 8 championship with a 3-0 mark by dominating Perry Central, 49-3.

Kade Elam added three more touchdowns to his resume in the Redhounds’ win while Nashawn Brooks had a 35-yard interception he returned for a score while Max Farmer returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown.

Corbin will finish regular season play at home Friday against Pulaski County.
