BAXTER — The Harlan County boys’ and girls’ cross country teams made it a clean sweep on Saturday as they both won their respective Class 2A, Region 7 championships.
The boys’ team placed first with 19 points, placing six of its runners in the top 10 as Kaden Boggs took home the individual championship with a time of 17:18.67.
The girls’ team dominated, placing five runners in the top five and seven runners in the top 10 while finishing with 15 points.
Peyton Lunsford continued her dominating season, winning individual honors with a time of 20:30.57.
