MANCHESTER — Oneida Baptist is only two wins away from making history, capturing the boys’ soccer program’s first state championship.
It’s been an amazing season for the Mountaineers, who have compiled an impressive 19-4 record while capturing the 49th District, 13th Region and 13th Region All ‘A’ Classic Tournament championships.
Oneida Baptist started the season with nine consecutive wins and hasn’t slowed down.
The Mountaineers are now winners of six straight games after defeating Lawrence County (4-0), and Powell County (5-0) during the first two rounds of the KHSAA Boys’ Soccer State Tournament.

The Blue Devils are the top-ranked team in the 11th Region. They possess a 19-3-4 record while riding a seven-game win streak. Their RPI rating is .67552 while Oneida Baptist’s stands at .60993.
