Wildcats’ losing skid hits five games after loss to McCreary Central

STEARNS — Lynn Camp’s struggles carries over into its regular season finale against McCreary Central.

The Wildcats (3-6) struggled to find the end zone again as a rash of injuries have slowed them down.

Darrell Hendrix’s squad has now lost five games in a row, and hasn’t won dating back to their win over Jackson County on Sept. 20.

“Our kids battled hard tonight,” Hendrix said. “We only dressed 17 players tonight. Between injuries and some quitting it’s been rough. We have  ton of injuries but some guys have stepped up keep fighting. Now we get back to work and prepare for Williamsburg.”

Lynn Camp will now switch its focus to Friday’s Class A first round playoff game at Williamsburg.

The two teams played on Oct. 11 with the Yellow Jackets winning, 48-0.
