Colonels dominate during 8-1 win over OBI

Whitley County notched it’s sixth win of the season by handing Oneida Baptist a 8-1 loss at home on Thursday. 

Matthew Sawyers continued to hold on his record-breaking season adding his 27th and 28th goals just 13 minutes into the match to give Whitley County a 2-0 edge.

Oneida Baptist scored during the 21st minute to cut it deficit to 2-1 before goals by Johnny Parra and Sawyers closed out the first half as the Colonels held a commanding 4-1 advantage. 

Whitley County added four more goals in the second half to wrapup the seven-goal win.

Jacob Senters scored a goal in the second half while Brent Grimes added three goals.
