GEORGETOWN — The Whitley County High School wrestling team turned in an impressive effort during this past weekend’s Battle of Elkhorn.
The Colonels entered the season with high expectations and lived up to them in Saturday with four wrestlers placing in the top five of their respective weight division.
Larriuce Felipe turned in an impressive first place effort in the 115-pound division while Channing Carte finished third in the 150-pound division. Michael Broadwell finished fourth in the 122-pound division while Kaden Davis wrapped up Whitley County’s successful day with a fifth place effort in the 138-pound division.
