Williamsburg picks up 75-45 road win over Knoxville Ambassadors

KNOXVILLE — Andrew Smith scored a game-high 22 points while Conner Saylor added 17 points, and Nate Goodin finished with 12 to lead Williamsburg to a 75-45 road win over the Knoxville Ambassadors.

“Fortunate to secure a win on the road tonight,” Williamsburg coach Anthony Hibbard said. “It took us a quarter to really find our rhythm defensively, but once we locked in, our effort was phenomenal.

“We still have a lot of boxes we need to check off as a team, but I feel like we are heading in the right direction,” he added. “We have plenty of room to grow and I hope the guys embrace that. We are looking forward to the next one.”

Williamsburg will host Harlan Monday at home at 7:30 p.m.
