MANCHESTER — Knox Central ran its record to 2-0 behind a double-double from Hayden Melton (10 points, 12 boards), a 17-point scoring effort from Grayson Burton, and 12 points from Evan Hubbard as the Panthers defeated OBI, 67-53.
“This was a great team effort,” Knox Central coach Mitchell Madden said. “We had three players in double figures and three more with nine points. We got in some foul trouble early but as a team we pulled away in fourth to get a good win over a very talented well coached OBI team.”
