MANCHESTER — Four players scored in double figures during Williamsburg’s 63-25 win over Oneida Baptist on Friday.
The win improved the Lady Yellow Jackets to 2-0 as Hannah Creekmore and Presley Spicer each scored 15 points apiece. Abby Moses added 11 points while Braylee Evans chipped in 10 points.
“So nice to have our second win on the road,” Williamsburg coach Melissia Douglas said. “I’m very proud of the effort and heart each player is putting in. Everyday we are making progress and that is what matters most. The ladies are understanding the foundation we are building now will lead to bigger and better things.
“Each player tonight added something valuable, and that’s how we build success together,” she added. “Just trusting in the process and each other is our mottos.”
The Lady Yellow Jackets led 21-6 at the end of the first quarter and 29-11 at halftime. They held a 49-20 advantage entering the fourth quarter.
