Corbin runs record to 3-0 with win over Harlan County 

CORBIN – The duo of Kylie Clem and Raegan Walker combined to score 46 points to lead Corbin past Harlan County with a 63-58 on Friday.

Corbin (3-0) led throughout the contest but had to hold off a late rally by the Lady Black Bears, who fell to 0-3.

The Lady Redhounds led 16-12 at the end of the first quarter and 28-22 at halftime. Corbin led 45-42 at the end of the third quarter before holding on in the fourth quarter despite Harlan County knocking down four 3-pointers.

Clem had eight points in the first half before scoring 18 of her 26 points in the second half. She hit 8-of-10 free throw attempts during the final 16 minutes.

Walker scored 10 of her 20 points in the second quarter and finished hitting 4-of-8 shot attempts from the free-throw line. Lydia King added seven points for Corbin.

Kylee Runions led Harlan County with 25 points while hitting 10-of-11 shot attempts from the free-throw line while Jaylee Cochran hit five 3-pointers and finished with 18 points.
