McGeorge, Lamb, Barton combine to score 55 points during Bell County’s win over Tri-Cities Christian Academy

PINEVILLE — Lauren McGeorge continued her impressive play, scoring 27 points while hitting four 3-pointers to lead Bell County to a convincing 70-50 win over Tri-Cities Christian Academy on Friday.

Kairi Lamb and Gracie Barton added 14 points apiece in the win while Nevaeh Allen added nine points.

“Another good early test for our team,” Bell County coach David Teague said. “Tri-Cities has got a nice ball team, they were big and very athletic so they gave us a good challenge the entire ballgame.

“I thought the defensive effort our kids had throughout the second quarter was the difference in the game,” he added. “Very proud of their effort. Had to battle some foul trouble but thought our kids, especially the younger girls gave some really good minutes.”
