CORBIN — Dinky Phipps’ Lynn Camp Wildcats’ struggles carries over into Thursday’s home matchup against Somerset Christian.
The Wildcats struggled on both ends of the court during their 84-54 loss while falling to 0-5 during the process.
Lynn Camp only trailed 21-13 at the end of the first quarter before getting outscored, 27-13, in the second quarter.
The Wildcats trailed 48-26 at halftime but continued to fight. They were outscored, 27-16, in the third quarter before outscoring Somerset Christian, 12-9, during the game’s final eight minutes.
Jared King led Lynn Camp with 15 points while Ethen Chafin added 13 points. Conner Mabe tallied 11 points while Elijah Mayo chipped in eight points.
