HAZARD — Knox Central moved to a perfect 3-0 after upending Paintsville during opening round action of the WYMT Mountain Classic on Thursday.
The Lady Panthers cruised to Saturday morning’s semifinal action by defeating the Lady Tigers, 73-33.
Halle Collins led the way with another double-double, scoring 24 points and pulling down 15 rebounds (eight offensive).
Maggie Gibson added 12 points and Shelbie Mills finished with 11 points.
