MANCHESTER — Oneida Baptist evened its record at 3-3 after upending Owsley County, 68-54, on Saturday.
Freshman guard Skyler Roberts had seven 3-pointers and 28 points. Junior forward Dennis Esemuede had 17 points, six rebounds and six assists while aenior forward Jason Erhunmwunse had 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
“Jason’s defense was key,” Oneida Baptist coach Larry Gritton said. “He is a tremendous defender and can guard 1-5.
“Really pleased with the bounce back win and team effort tonight,” he added. “Our group is coachable and has a will to win. Back to work on Monday to get ready for an important 49th District matchup versus Jackson County.”
