HARLAN — Led by Kairi Lamb’s 22 points, Bell County did just enough to slip past Harlan, 55-50, in a key 52nd District battle.
The Lady Bobcats (4-1) evened their district record at 1-1 while the Lady Green Dragons (3-3) fell to 0-1.
Harlan led 16-14 at the end but trailed 28-27 at halftime. Bell County outscored the Lady Green Dragons, 27-23, in the second half.
Lauren McGeorge added 19 points in the win for the Lady Bobcats while Kylie Noe led Harlan with 16 points. Aymanni Wynn chipped in 10 points for the Lady Green Dragons.
