Redhound boys’ soccer fall in Kentucky 2A title game 

Corbin’s quest for a run at the Kentucky 2A State Boys’ Soccer Championship came to end in during Saturday’s title game as they dropped a 5-1 decision to Warren Central.

The Dragons jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead before the Redhounds (8-6-1) answered with a goal of their own via Gabe Cima.

Warren Central responded with four unanswered to goals to secure the championship win.

Armando Cima’s squad reached the finals by defeating Christian Academy-Louisville on Friday, 3-2. They also knocked off Belfry the week before with a 4-0 decision.

Brendon Barajas, Gabe Cima, and Braydon Van were named to the All-Tournament team. 

Corbin will be back in action Tuesday at home against Madison Central.
