Lady Tigers’ rally falls short in 54-45 loss to unbeaten Watertown High School

The Clay County Lady Tigers fell to 3-3 but not before putting up a fight against Tennessee’s Watertown High School.

Watertown entered the game with a perfect 8-0 record and left with a 54-45 win over the Lady Tigers.

Clay County trailed 42-22 entering the fourth quarter before rallying with a 23-12 run during the final eight minutes of the contest.

Maci White led the Lady Tigers with 13 points and seven rebounds while Anna Samples added nine points and two boards. Madison Pendland scored seven points and had four rebounds while Carly Fultz finished with six points and 10 boards.
