LEXINGTON — The North Laurel Jaguars started the White, Greer, Maggard Holiday Classic off on the right foot with a 55-48 win over Butler County during Friday’s first round action.
The Jaguars advance and will face-off against DuPont Manual on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
“Good win for us to start the WGM Classic,” North Laurel coach Nate Valentine said. “We did a really good job defensively by making things tough on their guard. Our guys were locked in and ready to go off the break. This is always a challenging field. Manual is off to a tremendous start and it will be another good test for us.”
