SEVIERVILLE, TENN. — Whitley County’s first game in the Winterfest Shootout didn’t go the way the Lady Colonels would have hoped.
The Lady Colonels (7-2) got off to a slow start and never got on track during their, 62-32, loss on Friday to Tennessee’s Lipscomb Academy.
Whitley County will be back in action Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
Aubree Clemens led the Lady Colonels with 13 points while Jonna Rice and Maddy Hopkins scored six points apiece.
