WILLIAMSBURG — Anthony Hibbard’s Williamsburg Yellow Jackets notched their 10th win of the season on Friday by collecting an 86-56 victory over Cumberland Christian.
The Yellow Jackets (10-1) are ahead of schedule compared to last season when they didn’t record their 10th win until Jan. 12, 2024.
“Proud of our collective effort tonight,” Hibbard said. “We really shared the ball well and got a lot of good looks at the basket. We still need to improve in some areas. Overall, we believe we are getting better with every possession.”
Lakin Cunagin led the Yellow Jackets with 24 points while Andrew Smith and Conner Saylor scored 15 points apiece.
