MONTICELLO — The Corbin High School wrestling team turned in solid efforts this past weekend while continuing its successful season during the process.
Allison Neely placed third overall in the 140-pound division of the Battle of the Burg Girls’ Tournament while teammate Bailee Williams finished fifth overall in the 134-pound division.
The boys’ team captured five wins to place first in the Border Wars Dual Tournament.
Corbin handed Southwestern a 65-18 loss before reeling off wins against McCreary Central (49-24), Somerset (59-21), Bell County (62-18), and Wayne County (39-37).
