MIDDLESBORO — Clay County picked up a big road win on Monday, slipping past Middlesboro with a 47-42 win.
The Lady Tigers are winners of two straight while improving to 6-4. The loss dropped the Lady Yellow Jackets to 4-3.
Clay County led 15-11 at the end of the first quarter and 22-19 before taking a 33-32 advantage into the fourth quarter.
Macie White led the Lady Tigers with 18 points while Anna Samples finished with 11 points.
Keevi Betts led Middlesboro with a game-high 20 points.
