WILLIAMSBURG — Five players scored in double figures as Williamsburg cruised to its fifth consecutive win by defeating Owsley County, 81-53.
The Yellow Jackets (11-1) were led by Nate Goodin’s 20 points while Andrew Smith finished with 14 points. Lakin Cunnagin added 12 points while Cooper Prewitt finished with 11 points and Reece Hatcher scored 10 points.
“Proud of our effort tonight,” Williamsburg coach Anthony Hibbard said. “We had some great moments. I thought we played with a lot of intensity of the defensive side and we shared the ball incredibly well. It’s a good sign when you see multiple guys in double-digits. We hope to continue to improve this week as we have the All ‘A’ coming up.”
