CORBIN — Don’t look now, but Brad Sizemore’s Bell County Bobcats have reeled off seven straight wins, including winning their second straight tournament championship in a row.
Bell County (10-3) upended Ohio’s Little Miami High School in the Grace Health Cumberland Falls Invitational title game on Monday with a 47-29 victory.
“It was a great win for our team,” Bell County coach Brad Sizemore said. “I’m really happy for our kids. This is a prestigious tournament to come down and participate in. We are very fortunate to walk away with three wins.
“We had several guys step up and play great on both ends of the floor,” he added. “We beat a really good team tonight. Hopefully this will give us some momentum moving forward.”
Blake Burnett led the way with 22 points while Ethan Buell added 14 points, Braxton Ferguson scored nine points and Cameron Hall finished with two points.
