MANCHESTER — Skyler Roberts, Tommy Branstutter and Jacob Rogers combined to score 71 points to lead Oneida Baptist past Cumberland Christian, 93-51.
Roberts led the Mountaineers (7-6) with 25 points while Branstutter had 24 points, and Rogers scored 22 points.
“It was good to break through with a good shooting night,” Oneida Baptist coach Larry Gritton said. “When our freshmen guard duo gets it going from deep on the same night we can put up some points. Tonight was a good tune-up for our All A Regional Tournament. That tournament gives small schools like ours an opportunity to compete for a regional championship and we are excited for Saturday’s opening round versus Harlan.”
