CORBIN — Pineville punched its ticket into Wednesday’s 13th Region All ‘A’ Classic championship thanks to a 65-54 win over Oneida Baptist.
The game was close throughout with the Mountain Lions trailing 21-16 at the end of the first quarter before rallying to take a 35-33 lead at halftime.
Pineville’s lead grew to 54-44 heading into the fourth quarter before putting the game away in the final eight minutes.
Sawyer Thompson led the Mountain Lions with 23 points while Ashton Moser added 22 points.
Oneida Baptist’s Jacob Rogers led all scorers with 26 points while Jason Erhunmwunse finished with 10 points.
