Knox Central punched its ticket into the Kentucky 2A, Section 7 finals with a 61-20 win over Harlan County.
The win sets up a finals matchup between the Lady Panthers and Corbin. The two teams met in the WYMT Mountain Classic with Knox Central coming away with a 54-51 win.
Against the Lady Black Bears, Halle Collins had 11 points, 14 rebounds, six assists and four steals in 16 minutes of work while Shelbie Mills scored a game-high 19 points and Kenzie Hensley finished with 11 points.
Collins’ double-double was her 90th of her career.
