LONDON — The first KHSAA Girls High School RPI Ratings came out this week with a familiar team sitting atop the ratings.
Eddie Mahan’s North Laurel Lady Jaguars are ranked No. 1 with a .72120 rating. The Lady Jaguars are currently 11-0 and ranked as high as Mo. 3 in the state.
Corbin comes in at the No. 2 spot with a .64700 rating. The Lady Redhounds are 12-2, and captured the Kentucky 2A, Section 7 championship on Monday, erasing an 18-point deficit to defeat Knox Central. The Lady Panthers (11-4) come in at the No. 3 position with .63571 rating.
Bell County (10-4), and South Laurel (8-4) come in at the No. 4 and No. 5 spots respectively with ratings of .60802, and .60398.
Whitley County (.58111), Jackson County (.57087), Middlesboro (.54533), Clay County (.53175), and Harlan (.51332), round out the No. 6 though No. 10 positions while Pineville (.51078), Harlan County (.44849), Barbourville (..44789), Williamsburg (.42098), Lynn Camp (.39934), and Oneida Baptist (.27632), round out numbers 11 through 16.
