LONDON — Harlan County, just fresh off of a 63-60 win over Bell County in Monday’s Kentucky 2A, Section 7 championship game, sits atop the first KHSAA 13th Region Boys’ Basketball RPI Ratings.
The defending 13th Region Black Bears (12-4) have a rating of .64480 while South Laurel (9-4) comes in at No. 2 with a .60602 rating.
Eric Swords’ Whitley County Colonels are No. 3 with a .60251 rating while Clay County .60190, and Bell County (.60143) round out the top five teams.
13th Region All ‘A’ Classic champion Pineville is ranked sixth with a .60108 rating while Nate Valentine’s North Laurel Jaguars are ranked seventh with an RPI rating of .58144.
Williamsburg (.58036), Knox Central (.58036), Barbourville (.54392), and Corbin (.54087) round out positions seven through 10, respectively.
Oneida Baptist (.52419), Jackson County (.44288), Harlan (.41179), Middlesboro (.40759), Lynn Camp (.32886), and Red Bird (.29790) round out positions 11 through 16.
