Lady Redhounds fall short in Kentucky 2A State Tournament 

OWENSBORO — Corbin’s run for a Kentucky 2A state championship came to an end during opening round play of the tournament after dropping a 61-57 loss to Franklin County.

The Lady Redhounds’ struggles in the second quarter that saw them get outscored, 19-8, while entering halftime facing a 31-25 deficit.

Isaac Wilson’s squad battled in the second half, tying the game at 44 apiece entering the fourth quarter, but the Lady Redhounds’ rally fell short.

Franklin County knocked down 15-of-26 shot attempts from the free-throw line in the game while Corbin was 2-of-4.

Kylie Clem led the Lady Redhounds with 23 points while Raegan Walker finished with 12 points, and Lydia King added 11 points.
