MANCHESTER — Larry Gritton’s Oneida Baptist Mountaineers got back in the win column during Saturday’s Bobby Keith Classic.
The Mountaineers (9-9) were led their freshmen trio that combined to score 60 points on 15 made 3-pointers.
Skyler Roberts had 31 points, and made threes while Jacob Rogers scored 29 points, and eight made threes, and Jason Erhunmwunse finished with six points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds.
“Proud of our kids today and it’s nice to get back in the win column,” Gritton said. “When our young guards shoot it the way they did today we become a dangerous team. We will honor the Lord’s Day tomorrow, get in a good practice on Monday and be ready to compete better vs North Laurel than we did last month.”
