CORBIN — James Prewitt’s Lynn Camp Lady Wildcats didn’t pick up the win against Somerset on Saturday, but he was pleased with his players’ efforts.
The Lady Wildcats (4-9) dropped a 60-44 decision to the Lady Briar Jumpers, leading to Prewitt happy with the way his team competed throughout the contest.
“My girls really battled today,” he said. “They played hard and played well defensively at times. We had a few breakdowns, but for the most part we played much better.
“Aubrey Hollin stepped up today and gave us some really good minutes,” he added. “She is just now starting to get healthy. Madison Weymers, Lillian Henize, and Lauren Partin all had a great game today. They played well together, and led the team.”
Lauren Partin led Lynn Camp with 15 points while Aubrey Hollin added 12 points, and Madison Weymers finished with nine points.
