Corbin recorded its 10 consecutive win, upending Knox Central at home on Monday with a 10-0 victory.
The Lady Redhounds were coming off a huge 4-3 victory against South Laurel, and didn’t have any type of a letdown.
Corbin scored six goals in the first half and never looked back, improving to 11-3 while the Lady Panthers fell to 2-6.
Olivia Jones scored four goals, and recorded an assist in the win.
Kaitlyn Will scored the Lady Redhounds’ first goal of the game to take a 1-0 lead during the fourth minute while Olivia Jones’ goal at the sixth minute pushed Corbin’s advantage to 2-0.
Jones recorded an assist on the Lady Redhounds’ next goal, finding Riley Childers in an open space that puts their team ahead 3-0 at the 10-minute mark.
Jones’ second goal of the game increased Corbin’s lead to 4-0 while Kaiden Walden scored minutes later to give the Lady Redhounds a 5-0 advantage.
A goal by Hailey Bargo allowed Corbin to take a 6-0 lead at halftime.
The Lady Redhounds continued to dominate in the second half, consecutive goals by Jones made the score 8-0 while Gibson added another score to increase Corbin’s lead to 9-0. An own goal by Knox Central ended the game.
The Lady Redhounds will be back in action Thursday on the road against Somerset while Knox Central will play Lincoln County Tuesday at home.
