HARLAN — Mackenzie Varner’s Harlan Lady Green Dragons got revenge in a big way against Middlesboro in 52nd District action with a convincing 74-49 win on Friday.
The two teams had met in the 13th Region Classic ‘A’ Classic less than two weeks ago with the Lady Yellow Jackets stunning the Lady Green Dragons with a 62-53 win.
Things were different Friday as Aymanni Wynn hit four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 26 points while Kylie Noel added 18 points. Cheyanne Rhymer added 14 points while Addison Campbell finished with 10 points.
Keevi Betts led Middlesboro with 17 points while Emily Lambert finished with 12 points.
