Bobcats remain red-hot with win over Waggener

LOUISVILLE — It might not have been the prettiest of wins, but the Bell County Bobcats do what good teams do best when they struggle — they still find a way to win.

The Bobcats did just enough to capture their fourth win in a row while improving to 16-4 by defeating Waggener, 67-60, on Saturday.

Blake Burnett led the way with 19 points while Ethan Buell scored 17 points and Cameron Hall finished with 14 points.

“Today was one of those games we started off slow and struggles throughout the first half our kids regroup and was able to figure it out down the stretch,” Bell County coach Brad Sizemore said. “We didn’t play our best game of year but founded a way to get the win.”
