PINEVILLE — Bell County got back to its winning ways, defeating Harlan County in 52nd District play, 69-33.
Kairi Lamb scored a game-high 21 points while Lauren McGeorge added 19 points for the Lady Bobcats.
“Good district win for our team,” Bell County coach David Teague said. “Thought our kids played well defensively and did a lot of good things on that end of the floor. We settled down offensively and shot the ball well overall.”
Bell County improved to 13-5 overall while moving to 3-1 against district foes.
The loss dropped the Lady Black Bears to 4-15, and 0-2. Kylee Runions led Harlan County with nine points.
