Nothing changes at the top, unbeaten North Laurel remains No. 1 in latest KHSAA 13 region RPI Rankings

CORBIN — Week three of the KHSAA 13th Region Girls’ RPI Ratings are less of a head scratcher compared to the boys’ side.
Unbeaten and No. 3 ranked North Laurel (18-0) sits atop the ratings once again garnering a .73850 mark. The Lady Jaguars have dominated almost everyone they’ve played this season (averaging 66.7 points per game while allowing only 35.2 points per game), but will be tested Friday at home against Madison Central.
South Laurel (15-4) comes in at No. 2 with a .63949 rating. The Lady Cardinals have been dominant defensively, allowing only 37.5 points per game.
Coming in at No. 3 is Knox Central (15-4) with a .63791 rating. Corbin (14-5, .62062), and Bell County (13-5, .60043) round out the top five.
Whitley County (13-7, .56512), Jackson County (9-10, .53686), Middlesboro (10-7, .53576), Clay County (12-9, .53046), and Pineville (9-9, .51041) round out positions six through 10.
Harlan County (4-15, .44255), Barbourville (7-13, .43660), Williamsburg (6-11, .41302), and Lynn Camp (5-10, .28443) round out positions 11 through 14.
Both Harlan and Oneida Baptist had games they haven’t reported at the time this story was written, thus they currently don’t have an RPI rating, and once they report their scores, it could change the RPI numbers of other teams in the 13th Region.
