LONDON — South Laurel had another easy day at the office, securing the 50th District’s top seed thanks to an easy, 68-36, win over Williamsburg.
The Cardinals improved to 16-6 with the win and 5-1 against 50th District opponents.
The loss dropped the Yellow Jackets to 12-8 and 0-6 against district opponents.
“Good to finish the district play with a win,” South Laurel coach Jeff Davis said. “Liked our focus and energy tonight. Now get ready for the next game.”
Ten players scored in the win for South Laurel as Jordan Mabe scored 11 points while Max Fullmer finished with 10 points. Kayden Taylor and Blaine Baker added nine points apiece.
Nate Goodin led the Yellow Jackets with 11 points while Andrew Smith finished with 10 points.
