CORBIN — Lynn Camp snapped a three-game losing skid as Lauren Partin poured in a 34-point, 19-rebound effort to lead the Lady Wildcats to a 67-45 win over Buckhorn on Monday.
Coach James Prewitt said it was the best game his team has played this season as Madison Weymers and Lillian Henize added 11 points apiece.
“The girls knew the goal and did a really good job accomplishing it,” Prewitt said. “They were prepared and really played well.
“Lauren Partin had another really great night with 34 points and 19 rebounds. Madison Weymers and Lillian Henize had 11 apiece,” he added. “They did a great job locking down their best two players defensively. Cambree Prewitt did a great job rebounding and Isabella Fox, Jayden Petrey, and Aubrey Hollin all gave good minutes. I wish we had time to enjoy it, but we are back in action against Barbourville tomorrow at 6 p.m.”
