LEXINGTON — Corbin’s boys’ track and field team notched seven top eight finishes while placing sixth overall with 33 points in Tuesday’s
2025 KHSAA Indoor Track and Field Class 2A Boys’ State Championships.
NaShawn Brooks had three of those top eight finishes, placing second in the 55 Meter Hurdles, sixth in the long jump, and eighth in the triple jump.
Jayce Stewart placed fourth in the 400 Meter Dash while Parker Stacy finished seventh in the Long Jump. The 4×400 team of Brooks, JB Llewellyn, Ethan Slone, and Jaxon McHargue turned in a second place finish while the 4×800 team of Isaiah Curry, Kaiden Gabbard, Kobe Dixon, and Ethan Lester finished seventh.
