Whitley County evened it’s record at 7-7 after upending Harlan County at home Thursday.
The Colonels scored four goals in the first half, and never looked back during their 5-0 shutout win.
The Black Bears saw their 5-6-2 while suffering only their second loss against 13th Region foes.
Brent Grimes scored Whitley County’s first goal off a corner kick from Jacob Senters to give his team a 1-0 edge four minutes into the contest.
Senters followed with a goal during the 13th minute while Grimes added his second goal two minutes later to push the Colonels’ lead to 3-0.
Dylan Miracle added a goal during the 22nd minute while Grimes added his third goal of the game at the 75-minute mark.
