Lady Colonels drop fifth straight, fall to Hendersonville, Tenn.

NORTH ROYALTON, OH. — Spring break wasn’t too kind to the Whitley County Lady Colonels.
The Lady Colonels finished their final game of spring break play with a 17-0 loss to Hendersonville.
Whitley County went 0-5 on its spring break trip and fell to 3-9. The Lady Colonels only had two hits and committed six errors in the loss, leading to eight unearned runs.
Hendersonville led 6-0 at the end of the first inning and added a run in the second inning before exploding for 10 runs in the third inning.
Caylee Singleton and Katelyn Shepherd had the lone hits for Whitley County.
Adalee Johnson took the loss, tossing .2 innings while four hits, and two earned runs, and finishing with a strikeout. Hallie Huddleston pitched 1.1 innings, giving up four hits and seven earned runs while striking out a batter. Cambree Price tossed the final inning, allowing three hits and two earned runs while striking out two batters.
