Errors, walks lead to North Laurel’s 16-11 loss to Rockcastle County 

MOUNT VERNON — Darren McWhorter’s North Laurel Jaguars were their own worst enemy on Tuesday.

The Jaguars (5-8) committed four errors that led to seven unearned runs while also issuing 11 walks as they dropped a 16-11 decision to Rockcastle County.

Carter Kelley went 3-for-4 at the plate with an RBI, and three runs scored while Eli Holt, Cam Smith and Bradyn Evans each had a hit and two RBI apiece. Jude McWhorter connected with a home run finishing with a hit, an RBI, and two runs scored while Ashton Napier finished with a hit, an RBI, and a run scored. Cooper Elza delivered two hits while Cooper Parman drove in a run.
